Jonsey Update

Well, im not dead, just getting ready to begin work on the display board for NOVA and finish up my units. I been playing a little catch up on some side projects and the allegies have been giving me migraines, which makes it hard to paint/create. I should have a great and large update sometimes next week.

Until then, the thought/tip for the day -

Water you paints down till they are almost transparent. You will save $$ on paint and your results will astound you. Yes it takes about 5-6 coats of paint for it to work, but utilize a fan blowing on your hobby space to speed it up.

Blood Angels? Flesh Tearers? Hmmm

Been some time since My Blood Angels seen some paint time. So messing around with some new things painting wise, and this is what I came up with. Not quite Blood Angels, and not Flesh Tearers anymore. the new bright red/orange fade has made me develop some fluff for my new chapter. More will be unveiled once I finish some other units for my tourny army. They are a break away chapter from the Flesh Tearers. And hopefully i can get some painting time this week to finish the assault unit that is poised to the right.

Game 4: "Dark Side of the Moon"

Arden's Deployment of the Walking dead.

Great Game thanks to Arden B.!!! Game ended after 7 FULL turns!!!! Mission was the Relic, with Hammer and Anvil Deployment, MIssion Modifier was Eclipse which FORCES Night Fighting on turns 3 & 4. Primary Objective was Relic worth 7 pts to the General who captured it. Secondary was First Blood worth 4 pts. and Tertiary was Hold the Line worth 4 pts to the person who had the most scoring units in his deployment zone. I won the roll and chose to go second (as I had no Air units, and wanted the last player turn for this mission. which proved pivotal)

Custom 1 of 5 Plague Smail and Skittle Horror Update

Got a comission to make 5 unique eye catching spawn for a tourny player. He wanted a custome build. I had been kicking around the idea of a scratch snail build for a while. When i dropped playing CSM for CD in January, i decided to shelf the idea until this request came. I little green stuff, a bout a 3 color blend with a little ink, and some hot glue acid drool and i came with this. Each one will be quite unique, check back each week to see an update.

Also i am still belnding on my skittle horrors as i been calling them. I think you will agree they are getting closer to a really nice blend when you comapir these to the last post. If you seen them in person post up and give me feedback.

I am also kicking around an idea to create a series of cosutom deamon princes based on the 7 deadly sins. They will be composed of a little GW kit bashing and alot of SuperScupltey and Green stuff. As i finish them they will probably be on sale here for a while before shipping them off to the bay. Check the other post for a teaser. Post up and see if you can figure out what my first build is....
