Whats been happing at the inquistion

So a lot going on lately.  GW celebrated the holidays by 24 days of meta change.  Woohoo to digital releases.  Some interesting datasheets and formations, but still a lot of wait and see about what the TOs will allow, so it doesn't make sense to build an army of them yet.   I am still putting together the army for Adepticon and after all of the practice games with Jackie and Calvin's Deamons. I wanted to play an army of psykers too.  I couldn't find the Marine or Space Wolf army that had enough pyskic powers so I turned to the Inquisition, Grey Knights really.  I liked the way the Storm Raven and Purifers worked in my Nova list, and S10 AP1 large blast is always fun.  The good news is I think I am getting close to a build I like, and its partially painted! I still have a lot to do to model and paint.  So far I have some warriors with boltguns, who will eventually accompany a weaponsmith.  Also fresh from the first wash warriors with special weapons, for another weaponsmith unit.  So far the weaponsmiths have paid for themselves, although typical Relictor style the lascannons usually miss.

With the new stuff I like the idea of the shield generators.  I got to thinking how to build one when I realized I did last year.  Originally it started for a game of Apoc, but it never made it to paint.  I have removed the bitz and want to restart the flooring to make it look more 40k.

and it even lights up

My 2014 Tourny Travels

Been forever it seems since I actually posted here. Alot going on, Family (added a new baby boy to the family), School (first semester down, next starts in 2 weeks). Gaming has slipped way down my priority list. With Holiday sales, time off, and seeing the league move on (first season I am not playing in!) makes me take a look at my long time hobby and drool to get back to rolling some dice. Over the holiday season I purchased and put together (amazing wysiwyg units) the first I will have in 17 years of playing. (thanks to all those opponents who didn't mind asking every turn :What is that unit". I now am just awaiting a few more boxes I have orderd to get my full list out on the table and begin the small local tournaments (no gt's for me it seems this year) but running a wysiwyg army is my attempt at hitting the tourny scene this year. I will be running Crimson fists, and if any allies it will be white scars.

I want to wish everyone the best in the year to come and of course THANKS for YOUR SUPPORT!!!! Let's get this blog back to where it should be. Pictures of models/paint to be within the next month.

Enjoy the New year!!!!
