The Daemons will be out friday (time: pending warp interference) for a mess around test game again. I will amend this with a battle report once I figure out what happens... Hope to take the nice camera for a good report to place up here.
Trying to think of good lists to bring and double check everythign as stinking AB is not updated yet for Daemons. so that means you Tau players wont get an AB update until like july LOL

Ork Truks and Damonettes 3.24.2013
Got some conversion work done this weekend for Calvin on his Ork Truks. He wanted a few custom builds and i had never done anything with orc builds so i agreed to try. I picked out two nice frames from some models i had laying around and began to plasti-card them up in an orc fashion. I still have 2.5 more ork truks/buggies to build for his Adepticon trip (which i will be attending to pick up some forgeworld models and attend the trade shows).
Worked a little on 4 terminators i have for Ryan. They are also coming along nicely.
On another note i finished up 20 damonettes during an afternoon nap. Only 50 more damonettes to go and then on to 60 seekers.
Ill be busy till the first of May, but if you have painting/converting needs please let me know and we can work something out. Ill be in Tennessee till Saturday, so to the chaos bretheren, "keep killing the emporer scum, till i return!"

FBI alert "THAT GUY" spotted at the INDY GT
There are rumors floating around that "That Guy" was spotted at the local Mexican Resteraunt "EL RODEO."
Witnesses say that he was seen comsuming heavy quantities of adult beverages and hooting it up.
At approximately 8:23pm, "That Guy" vomited on two of his friends and right infront of a very attractive girl standing in line to pay for his meal before disappearing to the lavatory.
Reporter "Randy Savage" found a bystander outside and this was how it went down.
Savage - Sir, sir, what happened
Jones - (who was on the ground laughing or crying we dont know) "that guy" just let it go. He looked a little glassy eyed. I didnt think he would pull out the big guns again, but before he did, he warned everyone back up back up, "i got this!' I dont even know where i am , Exclaimed Jones.
Follow up
Savage - Jones was found in a metal institution with 7 other Indy GT members in white rooms. When asked for comments all of them rocked back and forth muttering "that guy, that guy that guy.
Warning - if you see that guy, report it to the local authorities.

Dancing with wolves
A buddy of mine wanted me to paint a pack of wolves and a 5 man Forgeworld terminator group. To make a long story short we showed up at the Indy GT a few weeks back and they had a three color minimum. I jumped in real quick to help a brother in need (he had 3 drop pods and numerous miniatures still to pain and game time was 12 hours away). I painted them rather quickly, but really didnt have the time to put the effort into it, plus i was half drunk. It didnt help 4 of us were painting in the light of a hotel room. I can't sat what a difference the right tools and lights make. On top of all that i was using paints i didnt have experience with. You would think it doesnt make a difference, but when i got them home and put them on the bench i seen the "light."
Anyway this is a fairly basic paintjob. He gave me free roam of what to do. Here is the color scheme.
Base - Black
Layer - Mechanicus Gray
Layer - (Striping) - watered down layers of admin gray (thin layers)
Wash - Boab Black (yes i still have a large supply)
Layer - reapplying stripy water down layers of admin gray
Glitz Yellow - Righ Shoulder pad
Khone Red, Wildrider Red and bloodletter for the hair (boab to darken the roots)
Gun metal - to scratch up the armor and stipple some battle damage
Dwarf bronze
Turquois Blue for a few random pops and gems
Army painter tufts of dead grass
Rust weathering powders (dark and fresh rust) by Tamiya
GW - Scrotched grass
Snow effects by ???
Anyway I did exceed the 3 color minimum and hopes he liked how they turned out
